Show Dates: February 12 through April 7, 2018
Location: Philip S Miller Douglas County Library at
100 S. Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104
Entry Deadline: Midnight, Monday, February 5th
Jury Dates: Monday, February 5th – Tuesday, February 6th
Acceptance Notification: Wednesday, February 7th
Art Drop off: Sunday, February 11th 12:00-4:30PM
CR Bank Room East at the Philip S. Miller Library
Reception Date: Saturday, April 7th 12:00-4:30PM,
CR Bank Room West at the Philip S. Miller Library
Takedown and Art Pick Up: At end of Reception and April 8th

Entry Fee & Number of Entries: One fee of $25 includes submission of 1, 2 or 3
artwork piece entries. Fee to be paid only if artwork
is accepted and to be paid at artwork drop off.
Artwork: 2D and 3D
Entry: Via Email listed in the application.
Eligible Participants: Artists from Front Range, Colorado within a 95 mile
radius of Castle Rock, CO
Prizes and Awards: Along with Ribbons for placement of 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions, monetary awards of $200, $150 and $100 respectively will be awarded. In addition, a generous donation from Tadashi Hayakawa will honor a Best of Show Award of $350.
As a step towards the continuity of the 3 vital shows previously held by GCRAG, Romancing the Arts, Court the Arts and NAP Front Range Show, three members from GCRAG and the Parker Artists Guild, PAG (Evette Goldstein, Jeanne Trueax and Toni Brock, have gained the support from GCRAG board members and PAG to organize these events. Volunteers from both groups is being sought to aid with the work involved, please submit your interest to the email listed on the application.

We are an all volunteer organization. We will need volunteers to assist in drop-off, pick-up and bringing goodies to the awards ceremony. Contact Event Coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org if you can assist.

We put on 3 major Exhibits every year –
Romancing the Arts in February held at the Castle Rock – P.S. Miller Library
Court the Arts – an outdoor fair the second weekend in June
National Arts Program in the fall at the Castle Rock – P.S. Miller Library
We also participate in other in other events that we do not organize. Other events –
Party in the Park 2017 sponsored by Castle Pines C of C
GCRAG has joined the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce. They have asked for high end artists to have booths at their event coming up soon. Contact the chamber directly .
Saturday, August 26th, 2017: Party in the Park sponsored by The Canyons by Shea Homes 5-8 pm. Located at Elk Ridge Park. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join us for food, beer, wine, kid fun, live music and FIREWORKS!

5th Annual Court the Arts 2017
Calling all artists to sell their art and fine crafts in this annual outdoor fair. Non-members are welcome to participate.
It’s time again for Court the Arts, an outdoor art fair held in the heart of historic Castle Rock with it’s many weekend activities. Art booths are set up in front of the 100 Wilcox County Bldg lawn in Castle Rock’s downtown square on Wilcox. Below are the application and information to register your booth. It is a busy weekend downtown with arts, entertainment, games, music and good family fun in the streets. Artist vendors are required to have a business license to participate.
Booth Fees: Single Space 10’ x 10’ $100 _________ Single Space 10’ x 10’ on corner $125 ________
Double Space 10’ x 20’ $200 ________ Double Space 10’ x 20’ on corner $225 ________

First send an email to GCRAGexhibits@gmail.com informing the Exhibit team of you plan to attend and booth preference. See layout for booth numbers. Describe method of payment used in your email with check no or paypal confirmation.

If within 3 days of event you may pay during set-up only IF you have sent your email notification. Also IF you are requesting a corner booth space we will try to confirm in advance if you have one. It is First Come First Serve on getting your preferred booth space.
